I am working long-distance with Prof. Klaus Lackner (Director of Center for Negative Carbon Emissions at Arizona State University) to model and find a way to manage control systems for direct air capture. The overarching goal of CNCE is to create technology to absorb Carbon Dioxide back from the air. For more information, click the MIT Technology Review article here.
As part of a software-development class, I led a project
of creating a gaming website that has sign-in/up, like/dislike and commenting
features. I took the task of implementing the game-pages’ design, like/dislike and
commenting. We used HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Express.Js, Heroku and PostgreSQL.

During the summer of 2019, I completed 5 project-assignments assigned as part of a great OpenCourseWare, Introduction to AI course taught by the late Prof. Patrick H. Winston. Topics covered in the assignments include rule-based systems, hill-climbing and A* searches, game search with alpha-beta pruning, constraint satisfaction problems and deep learning. The most interesting project was creating an intelligent ConnectFour game that utilizes alpha-beta pruning.

This program was written in C++ as part of my Introduction to Algorithms class and uses the Huffman Algorithm to compress a text-file. On average, it compresses text-files to 50% of their size and decompresses them to the original version.

As an IT student at the ITLL since October 2018, I have had the pleasure of taking part in the following efforts:
From September 2017 until August 2018, I worked as a student facilities assistant at the Community College of Denver. As part of my job, I took upon the following responsibilities:
Colorado is rich in hiking trails surrounded by great views. My friends and I have been exploring new hiking trails almost every month (more often during the summer) ever since we moved here.
The above picture (as well as the background photo) is that of a place called the Hanging Lake, which is my favorite hiking trail so far.
Probably my favorite hobby. I like to read science fiction, historical fiction and philosophy. My favorite authors are Jean-Paul Sartre and Richard Feynman.
The above photo is that of 'Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind' by Yuval Noah Harari and 'A Gentleman in Moscow' by Amor Towles, both of which were in Bill Gates' '5 Books to Read This Summer' list. I found them both entertaining and informative.
If you are a fan of soccer, and especially of Messi, we will have a lot to talk about. If you are a fan of Ronaldo, I will appreciate your enthusiasm for the sport nevertheless.
In the above photo, the clearly superior player Messi humiliates Ronaldo...as usual.
